The Lotus Center

Tina Marsicano, LCSW

Hi, my name is Tina Marsicano and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed in both Florida and New York State. I am a Qualified Supervisor for the State of Florida as well as a Certified LifeLine Practitioner.

I have been involved in the social work profession for the past 14 years. I graduated from New York University in 2006 with my Master’s Degree in Social Work, and I am currently enrolled in the Doctor in Social Work Program at Florida Atlantic University.

The power of the mind has always been a concept I have been fascinated about. Through my own personal journey, I have firsthand experienced the life and gravity you can create based off your thoughts, views, and feelings. If you find yourself facing the same portal for growth over and over – I promise you that there is a “message” for you in those challenges.

I am an integrative therapist. I do not feel that one form of healing works for everyone, and it is important to be flexible and be curious! I believe that the most important aspect of the therapeutic relationship is the relationship itself. You should feel heard, understood, respected, challenged, and intrigued. You should not be placed in a box or forced to fit within one therapeutic model. I integrate the theoretical aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Strength-Based Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Psychodynamic Theory, Person-Centered Theory, and Gestalt Theory. Integral Theory also includes integrating all aspects of a human including mind, body, and soul; and I feel that raising the vibration of all these aspects is key for sustainable change and growth.

As psychotherapist, I have always found that cognitive processing and conscious observation is an essential part of self-healing. The struggle I have found in myself as well as my clients is the resounding “WHY?!” Why is this happening to me? Why does the same thing keep happening? Why am I different? Why do I struggle in relationships? Integration of the LifeLine Technique® shifts those “why” questions to “what is this teaching me?”

I became a Certified LifeLine Practitioner in May 2019. The LifeLine Technique® has served as a complementary approach to clinical services to process subconscious triggers we did not even know were there. In addition, this technique helps identify when certain limiting beliefs started so we can discern these reactive parts of ourselves.

I am thrilled to be able to provide various services focused on achieving optimal mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Today is a great day for a breakthrough. If not now, then when?

“There are no problems, only portals to the next highest version of yourself.”
